Karen Jane Palmer, 64, passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2017.

Karen was born July 29, 1952 in South Bend to the late Virginia Lang Cossel. She was also preceded in death by a step-son, Steven Gleva and ex-husband John Gleva Sr.

Karen is survived by her sisters, Nancy Wachowiak and Nora Cossel; brother, Matthew Cossel; step-children, Sarah Waller, John Jr., Lorra, Matthew and Mark Gleva; 5 grandchildren; nephew, Austin Cossel; and her precious loved dogs, Fonzie & Leo.

Karen was a very organized person who worked in accounting for H&R Block and Irish Realty. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, ASPCA and Leader Dogs for the Blind. She loved reading, Notre Dame Football, family gatherings over the holidays, and family vacations, especially in the UP.

A Memorial Service to be held at a later date.
