Terry was born on April 11, 1947 in South Bend, to the late Leonard and Jane (Kosiak) Dobrucki.

Left to cherish the memory of Terry is the love of his life for over 50 years, Sandra "Sandy" (Fry) Dobrucki; son, Shannon (Amy) Dobrucki and daughter, Lindsay (Adam Villa) Marker; grandchildren, Nolan Dobrucki, Mya Dobrucki, and Levi Richard Christensen; sisters, Sue (Jeff) Nemeth and Bonnie (Michael) Dawson.

Terry attended St. Adalbert Schools and graduated from Washington High School. He worked as a school bus driver for the SBCSC for over 25 years. Terry was a member of the St. Joseph Club and PNA.  He enjoyed bowling, playing poker, softball & flag football, and his biggest recreation was casinos, music, and following the Middle of the Road Band. Terry and his wife Sandra, went dancing almost every weekend. Terry was a family man with a very simple lifestyle. Terry loved his donuts every morning. He had a very large collection of records and memorabilia. He loved to go to old car shows and playing poker with his son, Shannon, and his son's friends. His daughter, Lindsay loved to take her dad on Father’s Day to get his favorite cigar and Tanqueray Gin, then spend the day talking one-on-one. Terry loved family get-togethers and talking about politics and world affairs. His favorite thing to do was go out to his porch, smoke a cigar and talk with his friends every morning and every afternoon, and he would sit in his sun chair and smoke another cigar. Terry enjoyed a good conversation about sports and talking with his friends and son about them. He had weekly lunches with his friends on Monday's. Terry was known for being up to date on what was happening with friends and family and helped keep others informed as well.

The family would like to thank Nanette Saboski (his 2nd wife) for the love and support she gave to them; Frank Vanschoyck for his music and serenading Terry in his final days. The Center for Hospice Care, Raclin House, for the kindness, compassion, and peacefulness they provided for Terry and his family.

Finally, they would like to thank all their friends, family, and band members for supporting them through this difficult time. The cards, warm wishes, and knowing so many people were thinking of them brought them much comfort.
