Ralph J Wadzinski

SOUTH BEND - Ralph J. Wadzinski, 50, of Butternut Road, died at 1:41 p.m. Friday, Oct 28, 1994, in Community Hospital, Munster, Ind., after an illness. Mr. Wadzinski was a real estate agent for Coldwell Banker for eight years and was a former traffic and lighting engineer for the city of South Bend, working there for 20 years. He was born Jan. 15, 1944, in South Bend.

On Oct. 16, 1965, in South Bend, he married Sylvia Tobias. She survives with a son, Aaron ''A.J.'' at home; and his father, Felix Wadzinski of South Bend.

He formerly served with Indiana National Guard and was a graduate of Indiana University, Bloomington. He was a member of St. Mary's Polish National Catholic Church, where he served on the board of directors, Indiana Association of Realtors, Frederick Chopin Choir and was precinct committeeman for Portage Township.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph Funeral Home. Cremation will take place. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the church's organ fund.

NEWS FROM FAMILY December 2023: Ralph has been moved to Highland Cemetery in South Bend where there will be space for his wife next to him whenever she dies.
