Dolores A Wisniewski, 77, passed away Saturday, October 23, 2021 in Memorial Hospital.

Dolores was born June 23, 1944 in South Bend to the late Zolie & Marguerite (Scheibelhut) Pocza. Dolores married Daniel Walter Wisniewski, he preceded her in death. Dolores was also preceded in death by a son, Brian Wisniewski.

Left to cherish the memory of Dolores are her loving children, Daniel J. (Mary Beth) Wisniewski, Todd A. (Brigitte) Wisniewski, Ann Marie (Tim) Reed; grandsons, Jason (Kelly) Wisniewski & Craig Wisniewski; great-grandchildren, Dexter & Sydney Wisniewski; and her sister, Marguerite Cheek

Dolores was a parishioner of Holy Family Parish & also worked there for over 12 years. She also worked for the South Bend Community School Corporation for 24 years helping children as a Title One Teacher at many schools throughout the South Bend area. Dolores was one of the first to work with The Mobile Unit/ Mobile Class Room during the 1990's.

She enjoyed going to lunch with her friends, working on puzzles, painting statues, and was a dog lover. Most of all family was important to her. She loved spending time with her grandchildren & great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Dolores will be 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, October 27th, 2021 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. with a Rosary to prayed at 5:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October 28th, 2021 at 11:00 am in Holy Family Catholic Church with visitation 10:00 am to 10:45 am in the Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
