John P. Dorogi

March 9, 1945 – Jan. 23, 2005

John P. Dorogi, 59, of Fair Oaks Drive, South Bend, passed away Sunday, January 23, in his residence after a short illness. Mr.Dorogi was born on March 9, 1945, in South Bend, and was a lifetime resident of the Michiana area. He retired from Dunn-Bradstreet as an accountant. Mr.Dorogi is survived by a sister, Judy (Fred) Odusch of South Bend; two nieces, Lisa (Paul) Hummel and Denise Odusch, both of South Bend; and three nephews, Kyle, Ryan and Adam Hummel.

Mr.Dorogi was an avid lover of music and traveling.He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of American Legion Post 265. John will be sadly missed by his loving family and all who knew him.

Visitation hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m.Sunday, January 30, in Hanley & Sons “Southwest Chapel” Funeral Home, located at West Ireland Road and Indiana 23, South Bend. Funeral services will be private on Monday morning with family only.Burial will take place at Sumption Prairie Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of donor’s choice.
