Beverly June Heckman Kelver

June 1, 1933 - Jan. 13, 2019

MISHAWAKA, IN - Beverly June Kelver, 85, of Mishawaka, passed away Sunday, January 13, 2019 at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center - Mishawaka Campus.

She was born June 1, 1933 in South Bend, to the late John and Katherine (Daurer) Heckman.

In October of 1967 in South Bend, Beverly married Leo Kelver; he preceded her in death in November of 2008.

Beverly graduated from Washington High School in 1952.

She was a homemaker most of her life. Beverly enjoyed bowling, watching baseball and football, especially watching the Chicago Cubs, Notre Dame, and the Chicago Bears.

Surviving is her son, James (Sharon) Stremme of South Bend; daughter, Julie Stremme of Mishawaka; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Cloyd (Lois) Heckman of Lakeville and Terry Heckman of South Bend; and a brother-in-law, Walter Carter of Osceola.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; son, Jeffrey Kelver; four sisters, Shirley, Marjorie, Doris, and Sharon; and five brothers, Clifford, Carl, Carol, Calvin, and Clem Heckman.

Per Beverly's wishes, no services are planned at this time.

Burial will eventually be in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
