SOUTH BEND, IN - Susan Kay Ceglarek, 60, passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2018 in Memorial Hospital.

Sue was born January 3, 1958 in South Bend, to the late Bernard and Maryanne (Luczynski) Nowicki. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Randy Nowicki.

On October 3, 1981 in St. Hedwig Catholic Church, Sue married her loving husband, Michael Ceglarek. He survives along with their children, Brittany A. (Michael) Marek and Ryan M. Ceglarek.

Sue graduated from Washington High School in 1976. She was employed with 1st Source Bank for 43 years. Sue was a parishioner of St. Hedwig Catholic Church where she was a member of the Rosary Society and helped cook for events at the Hedwig Memorial Center. Sue was also a member of the Women's Club of 1st Source Bank, M.R. Falcons, and bowled at PNA. Sue enjoyed scrap-booking, water aerobics, annual trips to Amish Acres with her girlfriends, and trips to Florida with her husband. Most of all Sue loved being with her family and friends. She had a very kind and generous heart, always putting others before herself. Sue will be deeply missed by all her family and friends.

Visitation will be 3:00pm-7:00pm Friday, January 4, 2019 at ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. with a Rosary at 4:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am, Saturday, January 5, 2019 in St. Hedwig Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
