Patricia Louise (Lesniewicz) Ryback

Oct. 31, 1939 – Nov. 24, 2003

Patricia L. Ryback, 64, of Wheatfield Court, South Bend, Ind., passed away at 9:45 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 24, in the Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center. She was born on Oct.31, 1939, in South Bend, to Elgin and Bernadine (Sopczynski) Lesniewicz. Her father Elgin is deceased.

On Nov.6, 1976, in South Bend, she married James Ryback. She is survived by her husband, James; her mother, Bernadine Lesniewicz; daughter, Janet Soos of South Bend; sons, Jeffrey Soos and Ken Soos, both of South Bend; grandchildren, Kyle Horvath and Diamond Fields; and by a sister, Mary Ann (Matthew) Jackowiak of South Bend.

Patricia worked for 22 years as a bookkeeper with the B&R Oil Company. She was a member of St. Casimir Church. Patricia was active with Matthys Little League, North West Little League, and the West Side Democratic Club. She loved sports, baseball games, loved watching her grandchildren play, enjoyed Notre Dame, playing Euchre, and trips to the Blue Chip.

Visitation will be on Friday, Nov. 28, from 2 to 8 p.m. in St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S.Mayflower Road. A Rosary will be prayed at 4 p.m. Funeral services will be on Saturday, Nov. 29, at 10 a.m. in St. Casimir Church. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Casimir Building Fund
