William Linville Raker

PLYMOUTH, IN - William Linville Raker, age 71, passed away peacefully at his home on September 1, 2018 in Bullhead City, AZ. He was born in Plymouth, Indiana on November 12, 1946 to parents William and Christine Raker.

William and his parents then moved to South Bend, Indiana, where he later graduated from Washington High School. After graduating high school, he went to join the U.S. Army and fought in the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged from the Army and he went promptly to work for Raco. He worked for Raco for over 40 years.

He was happily married to the love of his life, Teena, for over 34 years. They were each other's best friends, enjoying countless memories and life adventures together.

William loved the western desert life. He loved fishing, rock hunting, and exploring the vast wildlife the desert had to offer, gaining new knowledge and life experiences.

William is survived by his wife, Teena; his son, William Raker Jr.; his brother, Robert Raker; his sister, Sherry Jackey; his sister, Jerry Sturma; his grandchildren; and his countless nieces and nephews whom he loved and cherished dearly.

At William's request, there will be no services.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pet Refuge in South Bend, IN, where William volunteered.
