Angela Mary Stajkowski

April 3, 1927 - April 17, 2018

SOUTH BEND - Angela Mary Stajkowski, 91, passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.

Angela was born April 3, 1927 in South Bend, IN to the late Stanley and Stella (Lechtanski) Stajkowski. Angela was also preceded in death by brothers, Jerome, Raymond, and Benedict Stajkowski; and sisters, Dorothy Weesner and Irene Stajkowski.

Survivors of Angela include her sisters-in-law, Shirley Stajkowski of Elkhart and Nancy Stajkowski of South Bend; nieces & nephews, Amy Stajkowski, James Stajkowski, Michael Stajkowski, and Debra Groves.

Angela was a 1945 graduate of Washington High School. She worked for First National Bank where she was a commercial loan officer. Angela was also a parishioner of Our Lady of Hungary Catholic Church. She enjoyed Broadway shows, musicals, traveling, and was an avid reader.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am Friday, April 20, 2018 in Our Lady of Hungary Catholic Church with a one hour visitation prior to the Mass. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Our Lady of Hungary Catholic Church, 829 W. Calvert St., South Bend, Indiana 46613 or a charity of choice.
