Eugene Charles Zuk

November 24, 1942 ~ July 13, 2023 (age 80)

Eugene Charles Zuk, 80 years old, passed away on Thursday morning, July 13, 2023 at his home.  Gene was born on November 24, 1942 in South Bend to the late Casimir and Genevieve (Knapp) Zuk.  He has remained a lifelong resident of South Bend.  Gene was a hair beautician for many years. 

He was a graduate of Washington High School and proudly served his country with the United States Army. 

Gene was a lover of dogs. One of his favorite past times was taking pictures and scrapbooking. Gene was an amazing man who helped anyone he could. His generosity, and gentle soul will be remembered by many. 

Gene is survived by his three nieces, two nephews, and their families; Taylor Robertson, Jessica Smart, Olivia Rogers, Nicholas Robertson, and Steven “Tommy” Robertson.  He is also survived by his close friend Steven and Denise (Greene). 

Private services will be held.  Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, South Bend is assisting the family.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Eugene C. Zuk may be donated to Alzheimer’s & Dementia Services of Northern Indiana, 922 E.
