NEW CARLISLE - Services for Margaret A. Shankland, 45, of 514 W. Front St., New Carlisle, who died at 9:55 a.m. Sunday at St. Joseph's Medical Center, South Bend. after an illness, will be 10 a m. Wednesday at St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Funeral Home, where a rosary will be said at 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Mrs. Shankland was employed at Village Florist in New Carlisle. She was born July 12, 1943, in South Bend, and had been an area resident all her life.

On June 22, 1970, in South Bend, as Margaret Dalkowski, she married William Shankland who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Deborah Albertson of New Carlisle: a son, Russ of New Carlisle: two sisters, Helen Jay of South Bend and Christine Winkler of Oklahoma: and her mother, Rose Mary Dalkowski of North Liberty
