Mary Ann Fountain
Mary Ann Fountain, a beacon of kindness and love, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2024, in Henderson, NV. Born on February 18, 1975, in South Bend, IN, Mary's warmth and laughter brought joy to all who knew her.
A proud graduate of South Bend Washington High School's class of 1993, Mary carried the same spirit of diligence and companionship into her longstanding career at the Deli in Martins, where she was more than just an employee; she was a friend to all.
Mary was preceded by her father, John Parker and her sister, Jackie Vaughn, Mary's memory will be cherished in the hearts of her mother, Gloria Fountain, her beloved daughter, Faith Towels, her sister, Jessica Parker, and her brother, John Parker, along with a community of friends and family whose lives she touched.
Mary's life was one of simple pleasures. Spending quality time with her daughter, sharing moments with friends and family, and indulging in her favorite shows, "Bad Girls Club" and "Love and Hip Hop," were among the joys that brightened her days. Her cats Joey and Hope were also a source of happiness, often finding comfort in her loving presence.
Described best as loving and kind, Mary's legacy is one of unconditional love and a life lived with an open heart. She will be profoundly missed, but her compassionate spirit will live on in the lives of those she loved.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 26th, 2024, from 11-12 p.m., with a service immediately following starting at 12 p.m., all at Palmer Funeral Home—West Chapel, 2702 Lincoln Way West, South Bend, IN 46628. Pastor Canneth Lee will officiate the services.
