Washington 1973 Vicky Jean Clayton

NORTH LIBERTY - Vicky Jean Clayton, 62, passed away on Friday, February 9, 2018 in her home, surrounded by her family. 

Vicky was born in Lakeville, Indiana to the late Townes and Ruth (Beauchamp) Clayton. 

Survivors of Vicky include her life partner, Mark Rajski of North Liberty; sisters, Karen (Tim) Woodhurst, Connie (Carson) Sarvari, Theresa (Junior) Napier, and Laura (Dennis) Whitmer; brothers, Rick (Karrie) Clayton and Daniel Clayton; best friend, Jen Fox; and several nieces and nephews.

Vicky was a graduate of Washington High School. She retired after 35 years of service with Derby Industries as a Quality Inspector. Vicky enjoyed shopping and collecting Boyd's Bears. She loved going to car shows and cruising with Mark, and loved listening to music, especially The Eagles. In fact, Vicky and Mark's favorite song together was the Styx song, “Lady”. Most of all, Vicky loved celebrating her family's special times and holidays. 

There will be no visitation or services. 

ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd., South Bend, IN is assisting the family. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Center for Hospice and Palliative Care, 501 Comfort Place, Mishawaka, IN 46545.
