Demtries Rene “Dee Dee” (Love) Anderson

Mrs. Demtries Rene “Dee Dee” (Love) Anderson, 22, dear loved one, who lived on Marquette Boulevard, South Bend, Ind., was taken from our midst at 12:01 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, in Memorial Hospital.

Dee Dee was born April 1, 1981, in South Bend. She was a 1999 graduate of Washington High School.

On Dec.16, 2000, she and Michael Anderson were united in marriage. Loving family members who survive to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include her husband, Michael; a daughter, Tianna Rene Anderson;a son, Michael Joseph Anderson Jr.;her parents, Duria and Chiquitta Love, all of South Bend; a sister, Tanisha Vida of Irving, Texas; two brothers, Brandon Jones Love of South Bend and Jason Vida of Irving; maternal grandmother, Mary Louise Perry; paternal grandmother, Sedira Griffin; five aunts, Patricia A.Perry, Joanne Laster, Ola Mae Ray, Lisa Milton and Doris Sanders; five uncles, Michael Paxton, Clarence Love, Bernard Love, Bonic Love and Chris Love, all of South Bend; mother-in-law, Lisa (Vinna) Riviera of South Bend; a very special and close friend, LaShawnda Lauderdale of South Bend; along with other relatives and special friends.

She was preceded in death by a grandmother, Pearline Love; and grandfathers, Jewel Love, Ronald Joseph Griffin Sr. and William Warfield.

Funeral services for Dee Dee were at noon Friday, Aug.22, in St. Luke Memorial Church of God in Christ.Pastor Fred Preston offici- ated.Interment followed at Highland Cemetery.Friends called one hour prior to the services in the church.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Alford’s Mortuary
