GRANGER, IN - Diane E. Wyatt, 76, of Granger, IN, passed away on Saturday, February 2, 2019, at the St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka. Diane was born on October 27, 1942, in Ypsilanti, MI, to the late George and Mary Mae (Smith) Wirick. Diane is also preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Wyatt who passed away on October 19, 2009; and her daughter, Candace Wyatt, who passed away on December 24, 1981. Diane is survived by her son, Tom Wyatt of McRae, AR; and her sisters, Merrianne (Scott) Eckhart of Granger, IN, Georganne (Ed) Rose of Bushnell, FL; brother, Mark Smith and her stepmother, Ines Wirick both from Pensacola, FL. Diane was a loving and caring grandmother to two granddaughters, Crystal Mariani of Searcy, AR and Brittany Fagin also from AR; and three great-granddaughters, Kaytlin Rector, Gianna Mariani, and Candace Wyatt, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Diane graduated from Washington High School in South Bend, IN. She lived in the South Bend, Mishawaka area and worked at the Family Children Center in Mishawaka for many years. Diane then moved to Arkansas and worked at the Matthews Foundry, retiring as a Type Setter with over 15 years of service. She enjoyed doing arts and crafts, and crocheting. There will be no visitation or service, cremation has taken place. Burial of remains will be at a later date at the Johnson Chapel Cemetery in Desarc, AR. Bubb Funeral Chapel assisted the family with the arrangements.
