Michael Edward Lukaszewski

Michael Edward Lukaszewski, age 84, born on May 10, 1941, in South Bend, Indiana passed away in Sebring, Florida due to a long struggle with cancer on 7/25/2025. He was the son of the late Walter and Stephanie (Rakowski) Lukaszewski.
Mike graduated from Washington High School where he met the love of his life, Patricia Niezgodski. They were married on February 17, 1962. She preceded him in death on June 15, 2001 along with his brother, Thomas Lukaszewski, and sister, Katherine (Kay) Meijers. Mike is survived by his daughters, Laurie Ann and Jill Ann, son, Scott Michael Lukaszewski of Sebring, Fl, brother, John Martin, sister-in-law, Sandra both of South Bend, Indiana and sister-in-law, Barbara Niezgodski Cleary of South Amboy, New Jersey. His passing has left a void in the hearts of family and friends, especially his best friends Bob and Beverly Wykoff in Sebring. Mike called his home and Sebring, FL "A Little Bit of Paradise."
Growing up on a farm, he learned to care for animals, which he loved and was a member of the St Joseph 4H Club. Later he worked for Logan Center in South Bend as the Manager of the Shipping and Receiving Dept. After retiring, he ventured to Sebring with his children, Laurie, as well as Jill and Scott whom are totally disabled and required around the clock care. Mike was a loving, devoted, dedicated father and caregiver for them. He was an inspiration to all who knew him.
Cremation has taken place and there will be a Celebration of life at a later date in Sebring, Fl.
