Patricia Ann (DeGraeve) Williamson

July 28, 1941 – June 12, 2007

MISHAWAKA — Patricia Ann (DeGraeve) Williamson, 65, died Tuesday, June 12, in her home in Glen Ellyn, IL. She was born on July 28, 1941, in Mishawaka, to the late Julius and Rose DeGraeve. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Richard DeGraeve.

Mrs.Williamson, a homemaker, was employed for 10 years with Osco Drugs as a pharmacist technician and clerk, and was formerly a secretary with WSBT Radio and TV in South Bend. Patricia was a high school graduate and a member of St. Petronille Catholic Church, Glen Ellyn, for 31 years. She was actively involved with her children in Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts; admittedly, she was a “collector of things:kids, Santas and cherished teddies.”Patricia was a faithful woman and put God at the center of everything.She loved being with her family, and thought the greatest thing was to be called “Mom”until she heard “grandma.”

Survivors include her beloved husband of 38 years, Michael D. Williamson of Glen Ellyn; loving children, Aaron Williamson of Glen Ellyn, Brian (Anna) Williamson of New Richmond, WI, Danielle (Dan) Kamp of Bartlett and Chris (fiancée Carrie Miller) Williamson of Winfield; cherished grandchildren, Aubrey, Turner, Shelby and Tristin Williamson, and Cassie and Joshua Kamp;and dear sisters, Barbara DeGraeve and Carol (Arnie) Wenzel, both of Granger.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 16, from 1 p.m.until time of funeral services at 4 p.m.in the Leonard Memorial Home Lt., 565 Duane Street, Glen Ellyn, IL 630-469-0032, officiated by Deacon Ronald Yurcus.Inurnment will be private.
