Linda Sue (McKelvey) Crain

Linda Sue Crain, 36, of 1814 Brookmede, died at 3:50 p.m. Thursday in Memorial Hospital after an illness of four months. She was employed by the Ayr-Way store at Scottsdale Mall.

Born on June 6, 1944, in Florence, Ala., she lived in South Bend since 1953, coming from Alabama. On June 15, 1963, in South Bend, she married LeRoy Crain, who survives along with a daughter, Lori Ann, at home; two sons, Keith and Kevin, both at home; a sister, Mrs. Jane Dils of Granger; two brothers, Thurston McKelvey Jr. of Mishawaka and John McKelvey of South Bend; her parents, Mr. and Mrs.

Thurston McKelvey Sr. of South Bend; her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J.F. McKelvey of Florence; and her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Linda Richardson of Florence.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the Church of Christ, Jefferson and Currant Road, Mishawaka. Jim Handley, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the Orvis-Palmer Funeral Home, 336 N. Main
