Carol A. Lacy

Carol A. Lacy, 63, of South Bend died Saturday July 7, 2012 in Millers Merry Manor, New Carlisle. She was born June 15, 1949 in South Bend to the late Joseph E. and Virginia Ruth (Stokes) Lacy. Also preceding her in death were her brothers Paul J. and Kermit E. Lacy. She is survived by a Sister Ellie Lacy of Mishawaka and Brother Jerry D, Lacy of South Bend. Also a Niece Angela Lacy of South Bend and Nephew Todd Lacy of ILL. Along with several great Nieces and Nephews. Carol was a Tudor with Title 1 for the South Bend Community School Corp from 1969 to 2004. She graduated from Washington High School in 1967 and attended I.U.S.B. Carol taught Sunday School and sang in the Choir, and was a girl scout leader for many years. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday July 27, 2012 in the Lydick United Methodist Church 26510 W. Edison Rd. Rev. James Toole will officiate.
Cremation has taken place and burial will follow at a later date in Westlawn Cemetery in Denver, IN.
