SOUTH BEND - James F. Leach, 44, of Seattle, formerly of South Bend, died at 5 p.m. Sunday in Bailey Boushay House, Seattle, after an illness. Mr. Leach was employed by U.S. West.
He was born Aug. 23, 1950, in South Bend. He is survived by his mother, Mary Leach of South Bend: a sister, Patti Guzowski of South Bend: and a brother, Drew of South Bend.
He was a graduate of Purdue University.
Services will be held in Butterworth Funeral Home, Seattle.
Burial will be in Seattle. St. Joseph Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Bailey Boushay House, 2720 E. Madison St., Seattle. WA 98112.
