SOUTH BEND - Lou Ann Chelminiak, 70, passed away on Monday, March 29, 2021.

Lou Ann was born August 11, 1950 in South Bend to the late Joseph and Laurette (Nowostawski) Chelminiak.

Left to cherish the memory of Lou Ann are her sisters, Donna Chelminiak & Nancy Matthews; niece, Jessica (Matt) Langager; nephew, Brian (Hannah) Matthews; great-niece & nephew, Alexa & Brady Langager; and godson, Ralph Salata Jr.

Lou Ann worked for 1st Source Bank for 45 years. She was a member of the 1st Source Bank Women's Club, the Cursillo Movement, and was very active with her parish, St. Casimir Catholic Church. Lou Ann enjoyed going to lunches with her fellow 68ers of Washington High School. She was an avid sports fan, especially Chicago Cubs, Notre Dame and Washington Panthers. A highlight in Lou Ann's life was a trip she took to Israel and Rome. She was a very loving sister and doting aunt to her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed attending their school and sporting events. Her nieces and nephews were the joy of her life.

Visitation will be 2:00pm-7:00pm, Wednesday, March 31, 2021 in St. Joseph Funeral Home, Mayflower Rd. with a Rosary prayed at 4:30pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am, Thursday, April 1, 2021 in St. Casimir Catholic Church. Memorial Contributions may be made to. St. Casimir Catholic Church, 1308 W.
