San Juan Aguirre

May 18, 1972 ~ September 25, 2025 53 Years Old

San Juan, beloved brother, son, family and friend, passed away far too soon, leaving behind a legacy of rhythm, laughter, and love. A drummer, Juan found joy in music—it was his heartbeat, his refuge, and his way of expressing what words couldn’t always reach.

Juan lived with deep feeling. He made people laugh, and carried a tenderness that touched those around him. Though he faced challenges in holding on to the connections he cherished, his heart never stopped loving. He experienced many losses in his life, and those wounds ran deep. Yet in his final days, Juan found peace. His passing came too soon, but he is no longer in pain. Letting go is never easy. But Juan’s final request was simple and brave: “Please let me go.” He longed to be reunited with the family he had lost, and we honor his wish with love and sorrow.

San Juan graduated from Washington High School. He worked as a welder for Monaco Coach and an operator at RACO for many years. In his younger years, he bowled at Chippewa Bowl with his dad. San Juan was a drummer, he played in a few groups, the main band being the Los Diamantes de Nuevo Leon with his dad and other friends and family. He enjoyed going to the beach, campfires, camping and being outdoors. He also enjoyed music, movie nights, and anything Star Wars & MARVEL. San Juan loved his family. Anytime he could spend with them brought him the most joy.

Left to cherish the memory of San Juan is his mother, Jane (Beserra) Aguilar; son, Brandon Aguirre; brother & sisters, Mercedes Aguirre, Ludivina (Kevin Marriott) Kubiak, Raquel Aguilar, Rene (Yolanda) Aguilar, Jr., Blanca Lozano, Maria Mercedes Lozano Pena, and Nancy Pilar Lozano Pena; and many dearly loved nieces and nephews. San Juan was preceded in death by his father, Hilario C. Aguirre.

Visitation will be 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 in St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Rd.
