Bradley Yoder

Bradley W. Yoder

Bradley W. Yoder, 35, of Amarillo, TX went to be with our Lord Tuesday, November 15, 2022 after a 2 year battle with Leukemia.

Brad was born on December 10, 1986, in South Bend, Indiana to Dave and Kathy Yoder. Brad graduated from Washington High School and received a degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Purdue University in 2009. Brad moved to Amarillo, TX where he met his wife Kristen and was married in 2011. He was a Process Engineering Manager at Pantex, Panhandle, TX.

There were many things Brad was passionate about. He loved fishing, camping, and golfing. He also loved all college sports, always cheering for Notre Dame and Purdue. However, there was nothing that Brad loved more than his precious girls. He was an incredible husband and the best girl dad in the world. Whether he was letting them do his hair and paint his nails, teaching them about airplanes and John Deere tractors, or taking the family camping, the girls were right by his side. He loved going on golf cart rides with them and watching Claire play basketball. They will always share an unbreakable bond. Brad was also honored to see Claire get baptized this past year and it brought him great joy. Brad fought his 2 year battle with cancer with an unwavering strength. His family, friends, and work-family at Pantex never left his side.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Edgar Kurzhal; and grandmother, Sue Yoder.

Brad is survived by his parents Dave and Kathy Yoder, of South Bend, IN; wife Kristen and daughters Claire (9) and Landry (6) all of Amarillo, TX; brothers Aaron (Rachel) and Connor (Edsys) of South Bend, IN; grandfather Charles Yoder and wife Janet; grandmother Phyllis Kurzhal; and nephews Dartanyin, Adam, and Elliot Yoder. His second family in Texas and Colorado is comprised of his in-laws Gary and Janet Hillers, of Amarillo, TX, Jason and Shanna Alstead, of Amarillo, TX, and Mark and Amy Hillers, of Parker, CO; and nieces Makenna, Brooklyn, Ellie, Willow and Sydney and Kristen’s grandparents, Vernon and Clara Yarbrough, of Amarillo, TX.

A Celebration of Life was held at Messiah’s House Church in Amarillo on Friday, Nov.18, 2022 and a Celebration of Life will be held in South Bend in the future.

At Brad’s request, in lieu of flowers, anyone wishing to honor Brad may make a contribution to his girl’s college fund through Venmo @Yoder-Girls or at any Amarillo National Bank branch.
