Evelyn B. (Stajkowski) Fanti

Evelyn B. Fanti, 62, of 408 W. 14th St., died at 4:20 a.m. today, Jan 31, 1986, in St. Joseph Hospital following an illness of several months. She was employed by the Mishawaka Municipal Utilities. She was bom Jan. 17, 1924, in South Bend and was a lifetime area resident.

On June 22, 1946, as Evelyn Stajkowski, she marrried Raymond A. Fanti in South Bend. He survives with two sons, Timothy of Las Vegas, Nev., and Kenneth of Northfield, 111; three grandchildren; four sisters, Sophie Gapski and Irene Phillips, both of Mishawaka, and Anna Rothballer and Frances Stump, both of South Bend; and three brothers, Bert, Louis and Joseph Stajkowski all of South Bend.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St Bavos Catholic Church. Entombment will be in Fairview Cemetery Mausoleum. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday and from 1 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Hahns De Vos Funeral Home, where a wake service will be conducted .at 7:30 p.m. Sunday.

Mrs. Fanti was a member of the DeAmicis Club Auxiliary and the Mishawaka-Penn Democratic Womens Club.
