SOUTH BEND Mrs. Olga C. "Connie (Shipp) Taylor, 72, ol Boulevard, passed away Friday, away at 6:35 pm, Aug 23, 1996, in SL Josephs Medical Center, from an illness. She waa born Oct 26, 1923, in Centerville, Tenn., to the. late Charlie and Willie (Mayberry) Shipp. Mrs. Taylor came to the Michiana area, in 1941, from Centerville. She worked at Allied Signal for 24 years, retiring from the Aerospace Division in 1992.

On April 13, 1946, in South, Bend, she married William D. Taylor, who survives. Other survivors include her children: daughter, Rosalind M. McKnight of Garner, N.C.; sons William Bradford Taylor and Todd Anthony Taylor, both of South Bend; three sisters, Valeria Stubblefield, Josephine Coble and Aliean Harris, all of South Bend; five Taylor grandchildren,, Chad A., TashanaL., Brandi M Todd Anthony Jr., and Sydni M.; and three Taylor great-grandchildren, Kharee D., Daazya A., and: Shakwon J., all of South Bend.

A son, Robin Keith, passed, away on Aug. 25, 1965.

Mrs. Taylor was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, South Bend, where a mass of the resurrection will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery.: Arrangements have been entrusted to and friends may call on Tuesday, 6 to 8 p.m, in the McGann Funeral Homes University Area Chapel 2313 E. Edison Rd. at Ironwood Drive,. South Bend, where there will be a parish wake service at 6:30 p.m.
