Lewis Oswald

Oswald, Lewis 7/17/1924 - 3/30/2018 Portage, formerly of Kalamazoo Age 93, died on Friday, March 30, 2018. He was born on July 17, 1924 in South Bend, Indiana, the son of Jacob and Helen (Wargo) Oswald. He faithfully served his country during WWII and worked for many years at Beacon Tool in Vicksburg.

He married Mary Smith Honeysett on April 14, 1983 and she preceded him in death in 2010.

Members of his family his children: Bryan (Karen) Oswald, Paul Oswald and Michael (Carmen) Oswald; his 6 step-children: Michael (Shirley) Honeysett, Paul (Mary) Honeysett, Kevin (Eileen) Honeysett, Karen (Dan) Hulet, Mark (Linda) Honeysett, and Lisa Hotchkiss; 5 grandchildren; 19 step-grandchildren and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Besides his wife Mary, he was preceded in death by his 2 sons: Douglas and Carl Oswald.

Private entombment will take place at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park.
