SOUTH BEND Dennis P. Doc Banicki, 48, of Lake Street died at 5:55 pm Wednesday in Memorial Hospital after an illness. Mr. Banicki was a former substitute teacher for the South Bend Community School Corp. He was born Dec. 2, 1946, in South Bend

On Nov. 1, 1985, in South Bend, he married Jean Kalsem. She survives with his mother, Alfreds Banicki of South Bend; and a brother, Benedict of South Bend

He was a graduate of Indiana University South Bend

Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St Adalberts Catholic Church. Cremation will take place. There will be no visitatioa St Joseph Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
