Evelyn R. (Jerzakowski) Jelinski

Evelyn R. Jelinski, 48, of 2118 W. Elwood Ave., died at 10:20 a.m. Monday in Memorial Hospital after an illness of six weeks. She had been employed at the Hamilton Harris Co. 10 years. She was born Aug. 29, 1923 in South Bend and had lived here all of her life.

As Evelyn Jerzakowski, on Nov. 17, 1945, she was married to Richard Jelinski, who survives, along with a son, David M. and a daughter, Miss Sharon J. Jelinski, both at home.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday in Kaniewski and Sons Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in Holy Cross Catholic Church by Rev. William J. Neidhart, C.S.C., pastor. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. A parish wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m; Thursday in the funeral home.
