Edmond M. Hageniers Sr.

SOUTH BEND - Edmond M. Hageniers Sr, 66, of 2816 Council Oak Dnve, died at 12:32 a m. today in his home of natural causes. Mr. Hageniers retired from the South Bend Police Department and Whiteford Systems, where he was a truck dnver. He was bom July 10, 1923, in Brasschatt, Belgium, and lived in South Bend since 1929.

On May 7, 1960, m South Bend, he married Glona Dylejko, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Jeanne Jones of South Bend; two sons, Gary of Sawyer and Edmond Jr. of South Bend; three stepdaughters, Frances Dylejko of South Bend, Vicki Bujeker of Richmond, Ind., and Bonnie Dylejko of Mishawaka; six grandchildren and one great-grandson.

He was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 36, Breezers Club, Disabled American Veterans, American Legion Post 50 and Post 284, St. Joseph Young Mens Society, Volkskring Club, Bowlers Country Club, Anchor Inn Conservation Club and 408 Club, and a veteran of World War II.

Fnends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Kaniewski & Sons Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph County Cancer Society.
