NORTH LIBERTY - Services for Edwin A. Wawrzyniak, 69, of Johnson Road, who died at 2:23 a.m.
Friday in SL Josephs Medical Center, South Bend, will be at 10 a.m. Monday in SL Stanislaus Kostka Church in Terre Coupee. Entombment will be in Resurrection Garden Mausoleum in SL Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday in SL Joseph Funeral Home, South Bend, where a parish rosary will be said at 7 p.m.
Mr. Wawrzyniak retired from City Pattern Co. He was born Sept 10, 1922, in South Bend and was a lifelong area residenL On SepL 9, 1950, in South Bend, he married Eleanor Niespodziany. She survives with two daughters, Marie Paczkowski of South Bend and Janice Wawrzyniak of North Liberty; two grandchildren; and six sisters, Eleanor Kubsiak, Irene Pajakowski, Jane Woltman, Stella Jankowski and Sally Borkowsld, all of South Bend, and Sister Mary Luisa of Livonia, Mich.
He was a member of American Legion Pulaski Post 357, Loyal Order of Eagles, and a veteran of World War II.
