Joseph M. Pietrzak

Joseph M. Pietrzak, 61, of 748 Fairway, died at 11:20p.m. Monday In Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. He was a machinist for South Bend Controls Inc. for 23 years. Born on March 28, 1922, In South Bend, he lived here all of his life. On June 29, 1944 in South Bend, he married Mary C. Niedzgodski, who died in 1978.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Cheryl Karling, Mrs. Diane Szucs, and Miss Mary Minsk, all of South Rend, and Mrs. Linda Kline of Granger; a son. David J. of Granger; and 10 grandchildren.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Kaniewski and Sons Funeral home. He was a member of St. Stephens Catholic Church and a World War II veteran.
