Ervin Paul Hoffman

SOUTH BEND - Ervin Hoffman, 87, passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2009, at 8:40 a.m. in Hamilton Grove Communities. Ervin was born May 15, 1922, in South Bend, to the late Martin and Carrie (Wisniewski) Hoffman. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Eugene Hoffman.

He is survived by his wife, Corrine Sperling; their son, Doug (Susan) Hoffman; and by his granddaughter, Emma Hoffman.

Ervin was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church. He served in the United States Army and was a member of American Legion 357.
