Jonathan M. Simon Feb. 14, 1983 - July 15, 2014 MISHAWAKA - Jonathan Michael Simon, 31, passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2014, in his home surrounded by his family. Jonathan was born February 14, 1983, in South Bend, to Michael and Anne (Chrobot) Simon. They survive along with a grandmother, Mary Jane Simon of South Bend; fianc‚e, Heidi Tidd of Mishawaka; children, Matthew and Gabrielle Tidd, and Natalie McColley; sisters, Jennifer (Paul) Christopher and Amy Simon (Jeremy); nieces & nephews, Joshua, Brianna, Rebecca, Tammy, Brayden, Alex, Abigail and Sebastian.
Jonathan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alex Simon, and Frank and Evelyn Chrobot. J
onathan graduated from Washington High School.
He was a line cook at Hooters for eight years and at The Goodwill Store. He was an avid Notre Dame football, Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bulls and Indianapolis Colts fan. Jonathan enjoyed working out as much as possible. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.
Visitation for Jonathan will be 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Thursday, July 17, 2014, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. A Funeral Ceremony will be celebrated at 10:00 am Friday, July 18, 2114, in the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed towards Jonathan's children. Condolences for the family may be made at www.sjfh.net.
