JOAN T. (ARCH) PAP

SOUTH BEND - Joan T. Pap, 74, of South Bend, IN, formerly of the 100 Center High Rise Apartments in Mishawaka, IN, passed away at 12:40 p.m. Monday, November 8, 2010, at Regency Place in South Bend. She was born on March 28, 1936, to the late Joseph L. and Anna (Grzeszczyk) Arch in South Bend, IN, and was a lifelong area resident.

Along with her parents, one brother, Joseph Arch, also preceded her in death. Joan graduated in 1954 from Washington High School in South Bend.

Mrs. Pap was retired from Goodwill Industries. Prior employments include TruCut Tools and South Bend Lathe.

On July 9, 1955, she married Rudolph Pap at the former St. Stephen Catholic Church in South Bend, IN. Rudolph passed away October 8, 1979. She is survived by her sister, Lorraine (Joseph) Sikora of Phoenix, AZ; sister-in-law, Gladys Arch of South Bend, IN; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 13, 2010, in St. Hedwig Catholic Church, where friends and family may visit one hour prior to the Mass. A private burial will take place at a later date at Sacred Heart Cemetery. Joan had a great love for animals and will be deeply missed by her family.
