DALE K. FOZO

SOUTH BEND - Dale K. Fozo, 76, passed away at 9:00 pm Thursday, August 23, 2012, in his residence surrounded by his family. Dale was born August 31, 1935, in South Bend, to the late Frank and Emma (Grimm) Fozo. Dale was also preceded in death by a brother, Gerald.

On July 25, 1959, Dale married Kathleen (Becraft). She survives along with children, Pam (Jim Ellett) Fozo of Indianapolis, Alan Fozo of Granger, Doug (Robin) Fozo of South Bend and Greg (Gayle) Fozo of South Bend; grandchildren, Joshua, Ariel, Amanda, Matt, Olivia, Lauren, Zachary, Sydney and Lukas; step-granddaughter, Heather Ellett-McNeil; two step-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Sherry (Ed) Sheets; and brother-in-law, Frank Becraft.

Dale retired as a teacher from the South Bend Community School Corporation. He was an all-state football player, was inducted into the Washington High School Hall of Fame, and was an avid golfer.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday, August 27, 2012, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 pm in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
