MONICA L. (TAYLOR) CULLUM
Monica Cullum Oct. 12, 1955 - May 28, 2014 SOUTH BEND - Monica Lynn Cullum, 58, passed away at 3:30 AM Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at her home. Monica was born on October 12, 1955, in Montgomery, Alabama, to the late Lloyd H. and Eleanor Joyce (Borden) Taylor, and has been a lifelong resident of this area, attending Washington High School. Monica worked at several area factories and previously worked as a Psychiatric Attendant at the Northern Indiana State Developmental Center.
She enjoyed bowling and bowled in several area leagues, and also enjoyed fishing and playing Bingo. She "loved life" and enjoyed it to the fullest.
Monica is survived by her sisters, Nancy (Ed) Gahm of Augusta, GA, Gloria Joblonski of South Bend, Mary Wesolowski of South Bend, Carol Taylor of North Liberty, Kathy Taylor of South Bend, Karen Anson of Niles, MI; brother, Calen Charzen of Keller, TX; many wonderful nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her great-niece, Alexia Boggs.
Funeral services for Monica Lynn Cullum will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, May 31, 2014, at Palmer Funeral Home River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend, IN 46615, where friends may gather with the family two hours prior to services. Burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend, at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Palmer Funeral Home to assist the family with final expenses.
