ANN (BUTLER) BOUGARD

SOUTH BEND - Mrs. Ann Bougard, 64, who formerly resided on West Napier Street, South Bend, Indiana, passed away at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 30, 2010, in the Ironwood Health and Rehabilitation Center, South Bend, Indiana. Ann was born to Jessie Butler on October 22, 1945, in South Bend, Indiana, who survives.
She graduated from Washington High School and then furthered her education at Ivy Tech College.
She was united in holy matrimony to James Bougard in South Bend on the 7th day of September 1983, who preceded her in death in 2004. Ann was preceded in death by her husband, James Bougard; two brothers, Turhan Butler and Andre Butler; and by her grandmother, Amanda Butler.
Survivors left to cherish Ann's memory include her mother, Jessie Butler; one aunt, Rosie Weaver; two uncles, William and Henry Butler; one niece, Andrea (John) Procter; one nephew, Andre (Emily) Butler; a great-niece, Evelyn Butler, and her guardian, Barabara Walker; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Mrs. Ann Bougard will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, February 5, 2010, in Alford's Mortuary. Visitation will take place from noon to 1 p.m. in the chapel.
