SOUTH BEND - Mr. Alfred Lee Parker, age 72, of Generations Drive, South Bend, IN, passed away on April 4, 2016.

Alfred was born in South Bend, IN, to Willie and Eula (Garmon) Wright, Sr., who both preceded him in death along with a grandson, Demarcus Clark, a great grandson, Jamar Edwards, Jr., and a nephew, Vernon Buggs, Jr.

Alfred graduated from Washington High School in 1961. He worked as a cook for Century Center, Co-op as a laborer and Cumming Engine as a laborer. His hobbies were fishing and listening to music.

Survivors left to cherish his memory include two daughters, Kimberly (Karl) Clark and Dawn (Thomas) Frazier, one son, Alfred A. Parker, 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, five sisters, Norma Jean Arnold, Terry Lynn Smith, Amelia Wright and Theresa Wright all of Las Vegas, Nevada, Anna Marie Teague of South Bend, IN, two brothers, Willie James Wright, Jr., and Michael Leon Wright along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Alford's Mortuary with viewing from 12:00 p.m., to 1:00 p.m., at Alford's Mortuary.
