ANGELA HACKNEY OBITUARY
Angela Hackney Dec. 14, 1968 - May 26, 2014 SOUTH BEND - Angela Francine Hackney was born to the union of Loretta Avance and William Avance Jr. on Dec. 14, 1968, in South Bend, IN.
She attended Harrison and Navarre and she graduated from Washington High School and she continued her education by getting her degree in Business Management from Brown Mackie College and recieved her Bachelor's Degree. Angee accepted Christ at an early age. She was a member of Pentecostal Cathedral COGIC and she worked as a secretary in the office at Pentecostal, and she helped with many other auxiliary at the church. She sang with the Junior Voice at Pentecostal under the leadership of Missionary Mary Winter.
She leaves to celebrate her memory Mother Loretta Avance; 1 daughter, Kasha Warner-Hackney; 1 son, Kalin Griffin of Indianapolis, IN; 2 grandchildren, Dericia Cristler, South Bend, Kameron Robinson of Indiana-polis; 1 sister, Darla Pfeifer; 4 brothers, Michael Hackney of Milwaukee, WI, Edward Pfeifer of Atlanta, GA, Mike Avance and Korey Avance of Acworth, GA; 3 aunts, Teresa Hackney of Milwaukee, WI, Darlean Hackney of Cleveland, OH, Dori Smith of South Bend, IN; 6 uncles, Ralph (Joanna) Hackney of Milwaukee, WI, Robert (Fannie) Hackney, Maurice (Addie) Hackney, Allen Smith, all of South Bend, IN, Darrell Hackney of Milwaukee, WI, Theodore Smith of Fayetteville, AR. Special uncle, Anthony Griffith of South Bend, IN.
She was preceded in death by 1 son, Kenneth Griffin; father, William Avance Jr.; great-grandparents, Grandberry and Bessie Austin; grandparents, Ralph Hackney, John Starr, William and Evelena Avance, Ruth Starr; 3 uncles, Joe Avance, Johnnie Avance, Donald Hackney; 1 aunt, Patsi Gwen Hartz. A host of great-uncles, aunts and cousins.
She also leaves to cherish her memory of her GOD children, Teresa MR Hackney, Airies Logan, Stacia "Bre" Royce and Roderick "RJ" Royce, Derrick "Dada" Harris and Dershawn Harris, and Kiara Logan. 4 nephews, Grandon Reed, Keith Brazier of Indianapolis, IN, and DeAndre (Asha) Pfeifer of South Bend, IN, Demetrius Pfeifer; and 5 nieces, Talia and Taryn Pfeifer of Alanta, GA, Quiona Lewis and MaShante Hackney of South Bend, and Natasha Dawson of Wichita, KS; and her best friend, Stacie Royce of Indianapolis. Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 7, 2014, at Pentecostal Cathedral Church of God in Christ, with viewing one hour prior to services.
