Glennadine "Glennie" Theresa Herman

Glennadine “Glennie“ Theresa Herman, 85, peacefully passed away surrounded by her family on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at Center for Hospice in Mishawaka. Glennie was born April 20, 1937, in South Bend, to the late Bert and Theresa (Zarobinski) Herman. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Delvin Herman; and her step-mother, Wanda Herman, who raised Glennie from the age of 7.

Left to cherish the memory of Glennie is her sister, Sharon (Phil) Czarnecki; many nieces and nephews, cousins, friends, and neighbors.

Glennie was the General Manager at Feferman’s/Dreisbach Navarre Cadillac Dealership for 35 years. She was a lifelong parishioner of St. Casimir Parish, where she was a member of the Senior Citizens Club. She was the legion of honor for M R Falconettes and on their bowling and golfing leagues. She was also on the board for Weed and Seed for the St. Casimir neighborhood. For 20 years, she served as the parade entry chairwoman for the Westside Memorial Day Parade. Glennie also enjoyed polka dancing, traveling, bus trips, bowling, golf, going to the lake on weekends, a good card game, and the casino.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 am Friday, May 13, 2022, in St. Casimir Catholic Church, 1302 W. Dunham St., South Bend. Friends may visit with the family from 3:00pm-7:00pm Thursday, May 12, 2022, in St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Rd., with a Rosary to be prayed at 4:45pm Thursday night at the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations made in honor of Glennadine “Glennie” Theresa Herman may be made out to St. Casimir Catholic Church or Center for Hospice. Condolences for the family may be made at www.sjfh.net.
