Linda R. (Pietrzak) Brooks

December 8, 1947 ~ May 27, 2019 (age 71)

Linda R. Brooks, 71, lifelong resident of South Bend, passed away at 9:00 pm Monday, May 27, 2019 at Hospice House of South Bend.  She was born December 8, 1947 in South Bend to the late Richard and Justina (Waters) Pietrzak.

On November 22, 1984 in South Bend, she married Dewey Brooks, who survives.  In addition to her loving husband of 34 years, she is survived by her son, Louis (Tina) Emberline Jr. of South Bend; her sister, Lisa Pietrzak of South Bend; her brother, Richard Pietrzak also of South Bend and two nieces and two nephews.

Memorial services for Linda will be held at 6:00 pm Wednesday, June 5, 2019 in the Palmer Funeral Home – River Park Chapel , 2528 Mishawak Ave., South Bend.  Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to services in the funeral home.
