Judith M. (Magdalinski) Cytacki

Judith M. Cytacki, 73 years old, passed away unexpectedly at 2:38 p.m. on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at Memorial Hospital, South Bend.  Judy was born on November 13, 1947 in South Bend to the late Bert and Molly (Szymkowiak) Magdalinski.  She has remained a lifelong resident of South Bend.  On November 13, 1971 in South Bend, Judy and Michael A. Cytacki were united in marriage. 

Along with her loving husband, Mike, of almost 50 years, survivors include their three children, Lynette (Paul) Kovacs of Elkhart, Charlene (Scott) Weber of South Bend, and Jason (Haley) Cytacki of Norman, OK; and four grandchildren with a baby girl due in June, Devin and Chloe Weber, and Arlo and Sawyer Cytacki.  Judy is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and George Soley of Indianapolis.  Judy’s favorite thing was spending time with her family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, May 3, 2021 at St. Jude Catholic Church, 19704 Johnson Road, South Bend.  Graveside services and burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend.  Friends may visit with the family from 2:00-6:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 2, at the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan Street, South Bend where a rosary will be prayed at 6:00 p.m. Friends may also visit with the family one hour prior to Mass at church on Monday. The family would like to request masks be worn at the visitation and funeral service. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Judith M. Cytacki may be donated to St. Jude Catholic Church Scholarship Support for Children in Need, 19704 Johnson Road, South Bend, IN  46614.  Online condolences may be offered to Judy’s family at www.palmerfuneralhomes.com.
