SOUTH BEND — Services for Harold R. Pickens. 48, of 3802 Glenview Drive, who died at 2:30 a.m. Friday in Memorial Hospital of an apparent heart attack, will Be at 1 0 a.m. Monday in McGann Funeral Home. 21275 W. Cleveland Road.

Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Joseph County Unit of American Heart Association.

Mr. Pickens was employed by Allied-Signal Inc. as an electrician for more than 24 years. He was born Oct. 10, 1943, in Peru, Ind., and lived in South Bend most of his life. On Feb. 15, 1964, in South Bend, he married Joyce M. Schlundt.

She survives with a daughter, Jean Park of South Bend; a son, James of South Bend; a granddaughter, his parents, Marjorie and Ray A. Pickens of South Bend; a sister, Susie Emerick of Indianapolis; and three brothers, Earl, Don and Gary, all of South Bend. He was a member of United Auto Workers Local 9.
