Robert A. Stickler June 30, 1945 - Mar. 4, 2015 MISHAWAKA - Robert A. Stickler, 69, of Mishawaka, died March 4, 2015. Bob lost his battle with cancer on Wednesday afternoon and went home to his heavenly father. He was born in Mishawaka on June 30, 1945, and graduated from Washington High School with the Class of 1963. Bob became an Eagle Scout in 1961 with South Bend Troop #307. He served his country with the US Army in Korean and Viet Nam. Bob was a member of the Vineyard Church in Mishawaka; enjoyed fishing, spending time with family & friends, and cherished his role as 'Grandpa'. He was a retired driver for Classic Transport. Bob was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Stickler. His survivors include his beloved wife, Karen Stickler of Mishawaka; son, Robert (Sherry) Stickler of South Bend; daughter, Lisa Betts of Jackson, MI; sisters, Bonnie (Dave) Rahm and Tina Morri, both in California; 4 chosen children, Joseph (Lori) Null of Bristol and Deana (Scott) Smith, Dawn (Jeff) South and Kelly (Kevin) George, all of Mishawaka; 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Friends may call Sunday, March 8, 2015, from 1-5 pm in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy. Funeral services 11:00 Monday in the funeral home, where friends may also call one hour prior to services. The family's preferred memorial is the Boy Scouts of America LaSalle Council, 1340 S Bend Ave., South Bend, IN 46617.
