SOUTH BEND - Paul J. Bierwagen, 60, passed away at 3:42 p.m. on Tuesday, January 5, 2010, in his residence.
Paul was born on July 27, 1949, in South Bend, to the late Thaddeus and Loretta (Kreczmer) Bierwagen.
Paul is survived by his wife, Donna (Wojciechowski) Bierwagen; step-daughter, Jodi Lopez; sons, Paul Jr. and Dustin; sister, Jennifer (Richard) Wilson; and a brother, Jeffery Bierwagen.
Paul honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy and was a member of American Legion Post 357. He also belonged to the Bowlers Country Club.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. today, January 10, 2010, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 11, 2010, in the funeral home.
