SOUTH BEND - Kesiah Lyshon Greer, 38, beloved mother, daughter and sister, who resided on Fillmore Road, South Bend, Indiana, passed away at 4:45 p.m. on Sunday, October 3, 2010, following an illness. Kesiah was born to the union of Martell and Jerelene (Turner) Greer Sr. on March 4, 1972, in Detroit, Michigan.

She graduated from Washington High School in 1990.

While at Washington High School, she served as Flag Captain from 1989 to 1990, Junior Prom Princess in 1989 and Senior Prom Queen in 1990. She was a active member of the IDMA (Institute of Divine Metaphysical Research) for 38 years. Her hobbies included shopping, poems and music.

Kesiah was preceded in death by her mother, Jerelene Greer, a niece, Danielle Hasan, and a cousin, Jalon Grant.

Survivors left to mourn her passing include one son, Charles Galloway Jr. of South Bend; her father, Martell Greer Sr.; three sisters, Loretta Greer (Nafis) Hasan, both of Detroit, Michigan, Conswella (Anthony) Patton and Marlene Greer, both of South Bend; one brother, Martell Greer Jr. of Detroit, Michigan; three cousins, Lydia Turner of Detroit, Cassandra Wallace of Muskegon, Michigan, and Demetria Turner; one uncle, Paul Turner, both of South Bend; one aunt, Lillian Turner of Detroit, Michigan; and a brother- and sister-in-law, Frederick and Chandra Patton of South Bend; along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial services for Kesiah Lyshon Greer will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 9, 2010, at Alford's Mortuary. Arrangements have been entrusted to Alford's Mortuary where messages of condolence may be e-mailed to Alfordsmortuary@comcast.net, c/o the Greer family.
