Arthur J. Kalmar, 71, of Wayne Lane, South Bend, Ind., passed away on Wednesday, April 30, in Memorial Hospital. He was born on Sept.25, 1931, in South Bend, to John and Mary (Rafalski) Kalmar, who preceded him in death.He was also preceded in death by a son, Keith Kalmar;a daughter, Jennifer Kalmar;and by a sister, Dolores Galeziewski.

On Oct.13, 1962, in South Bend, Arthur married Dorothy Kwiatkowski.Arthur is survived by his wife, Dorothy;and by a brother, Norbert (Mary Ann) Kalmar of South Bend.

He was a self-employed florist. He belonged to St.Casimir Church, the Ushers Club, and had been a lector in the church.He also belonged to the Married Men’s Club.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today, May 2, in the ST.JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road.A Rosary will be prayed at 5 p.m. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m.on Saturday, May 3, in the funeral home.Entombment will be at St.Joseph Cemetery, South Bend.
