MARTIN L. NIEDBALSKI

Martin L. Niedbalski Mar. 6, 1953 - Nov. 13, 2014 SOUTH BEND - Martin L. Niedbalski, 61, passed away Thursday, November 13, 2014. Martin was born March 6, 1953, in South Bend, to Dan and Theresa (Kielton) Niedbalski, who survive along with his stepdaughter, Kimberly Scope; two step-granddaughters, Moranda and Mariah Fugate; many uncles, aunts and cousins; and his dog, Kelli.

Martin was a graduate of Washington High School.

He was a South Bend police officer for 21 years before retirement. Martin was member of the F.O.P. #36 and Bowlers Country Club. He enjoyed bowling, golf, shooting pool, refinishing antiques, watching CSI and the game show network. Most of all, Martin enjoyed camping with his friends and spending time with his grandchildren.

Visitation for Martin will be 10:00 am to 1:00 pm Saturday, November 22, 2014, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd., where a Funeral Service will be celebrated at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to F.O.P #36 Children's Fund. Condolences for the family may be made at www.sjfh.net.
