SOUTH BEND - Gale Wiseman, 59, of Modesto, CA (formerly of South Bend, IN), passed away at 4:15 a.m. Sunday, January 30, 2011, at Memorial Medical Center in Modesto, CA. He was born on October 10, 1951, to the late Howard F. Sr. and Elna E. (Stickler) Wiseman in South Bend, IN, and had lived in Modesto, CA, since 1990, coming from Cassopolis, MI.
Gale graduated from Washington High School and Ivy Tech Community College, both in South Bend, IN.
Mr. Wiseman was the sole owner of Wiseman Design in Modesto, CA, where he specialized as an Architectural Designer and Draftsman.
On June 22, 1985, he married Karla Cochran in Cassopolis, MI. He is survived by his loving wife, Karla (Cochran) of Modesto, CA; his son, Edward Wiseman of South Bend, IN; two granddaughters and one grandson; his sister, Sharron Wiseman of Appleton, WI; and his brother, Howard F. (Sandra) Wiseman Jr. of North Liberty, IN.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 10, 2011, in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, IN, where friends may visit from 10 - 11 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
